If you are looking to park in Leeds city centre’s on-street parking bays, you can take advantage of free parking overnight and before 10am on Sunday mornings as well as all day Sunday at some locations:

Free Car Parks in Leeds
There is only 1 free car park in Leeds, Gledhow Road car park, which is free on Sundays and Bank Holiday’s only.
If you want to be closer to the city centre, you can benefit from reduced rates at certain times at the following council car parks:
- Woodhouse Lane Car Park – special evening parking rate of £6.50 between 6pm and midnight for First Arena visitors (event days only)
- Burley Road Car Park – £3 to park for 6 hours on Saturdays
- Hunslet Lane Car Park – £2 to park for 4 hours on Sundays
- West Street Car Park – £2 to park for 4 hours on Sundays
Free Parking at park & rides sites in leeds
Leeds has three park and ride sites around the city allowing you to benefit from low cost travel into the city centre.
This option is low cost as parking is free at all sites, so you just need to pay for the bus journey which takes around 10 minutes (Temple Green not open on a weekend).

You can benefit from WiFi on the bus as well as toilet facilities at the park and ride sites.
